Give each teammate the right Bearly plan
Team admins can buy, assign, move, and change Bearly seats from one team billing account.

Team billing is now built into Bearly. A team administrator can buy Pro, Analyst, Research, and Max seats from one team account, then assign each seat to an accepted teammate. Seats can use different plans. The team owns the payment method and invoices, while personal subscriptions stay separate.
One account, different seats
People on the same team rarely need the same amount of AI work. Someone who uses Bearly for writing and everyday analysis may need Pro. A teammate running heavier research can use Research or Max. Team billing lets an administrator make that choice seat by seat without splitting payment across personal accounts.
Suppose a five-person research team starts with three Pro seats, one Analyst seat, and one Max seat. The administrator chooses monthly or yearly billing once, completes checkout with the team's payment method, and assigns the five open seats after returning to Bearly. The Billing tab then shows the subscription status, renewal date, next invoice, and every active seat.
The first completed purchase fixes the team's monthly or yearly interval. Plans can still differ between seats, and administrators can add more seats later under the same billing account.
Max is offered through team seats rather than the personal plan picker.
Assign seats after checkout
Open seats are ready to assign as soon as the purchase finishes. Select Assign, then choose an accepted teammate or search the team by name or email. Each person can hold one active team seat.
This keeps purchasing separate from roster work. An administrator can buy the capacity the team needs, invite people, and assign seats when each membership is ready. Open seats with the same plan stay grouped, while assigned and changing seats remain individually manageable. Larger seat lists can be searched by holder, plan, or status.
Move and change a seat
A seat belongs to the team, not permanently to one person. An administrator can move it to another accepted teammate or unassign it and leave it open. Moving a seat removes the previous holder's access from that team seat immediately, while keeping the seat's plan and billing date.
Plan changes follow the billing consequence shown in the confirmation. An upgrade takes effect immediately and charges the prorated difference. A move to a lower plan waits until the next renewal. Administrators can also end a seat at renewal, then reinstate it before the end date if plans change.
Removing someone from the team unassigns their seat rather than ending the paid seat. The administrator can give that open seat to someone else.
Personal subscriptions stay personal
Assigning a team seat never quietly cancels a personal subscription.
When a person has both, Bearly uses the higher plan and does not add the two allowances together. If the team seat makes an eligible web-purchased personal plan redundant, the holder sees that overlap in Settings → Billing and can choose End personal plan. The personal subscription then ends at its own period boundary; the team seat is unchanged. App Store subscriptions remain managed through the iOS app.
The reverse is visible too. If a personal plan provides more access than the assigned team seat, Bearly explains that the personal plan is still the one providing the higher access.
Billing stays with administrators
Only team administrators can see the team's Billing tab, change its payment method, open invoices, or manage seats. Ordinary members see their assigned seat in personal Billing without gaining access to the team's account.
If a payment becomes past due, the team Billing page puts Fix payment first and pauses seat access until the open invoice is paid. A separate personal plan can continue to provide access in the meantime.
Teams whose plan is already provided through another arrangement do not get a second self-serve Billing tab. Their administrators can contact Bearly Support when that arrangement needs to change.
To set up the account or manage an existing seat list, follow the team billing guide.
